The first coaching session actually starts before you contact me. You will have decided that you are in the midst of a transition that you want to work through with someone else. You will have realized that talking with another listening person means that you can make what is difficult more manageable and productive. You will be thinking, “I don’t want to do this alone.”

When you contact me, we’ll set up an introductory session. We will talk together about the transition that you are in. What is your hope? What would be success for you as you walk through this time?

The introductory session is designed to be a space for discovery. You are finding out who I am. Feel free to ask questions of me. I will describe the services , coaching and the practice of co-creating for best results. At the end of this session, you will have more clarity on the next steps in coaching with me.

You want to make sure you understand what coaching is. For example, how coaching is different than therapy? Check out how you feel about working together with me. Make sure there is a sense of safety and support.

The first session will also cover the coaching agreement, understanding of confidentiality and ethical conduct. We will agree on the number of sessions to begin.

You will be provided with an agreement to sign as well as permission forms if appropriate.

This is your opportunity to ask any questions and make sure this is the right setting and I am the right person for you to accomplish your goal.

I usually charge $100 for the first session.
